Julian lost his first tooth today!

The tooth fairy will be making her first visit to Camelot tonight, Julian is very excited and has requested a bag full of pennies (wow, he's easy to please). The tooth fell out on the bus ride home from school this afternoon. He was sitting with Elizabeth and apparently they were playing a game where they hit each other in the face (nice, real nice) and the tooth just flew out! Luckily they found it on the floor. I had a feeling this morning when I was helping him brush his teeth, the two bottom teeth are hanging on by a thread. I am just surprised the other one didn't fall out first because the adult tooth is already growing in. I expect the tooth fairy to be coming back in a another night or two. Oh, and I bought that guitar tooth fairy pillow a few years ago in Portland when I was out visiting my sister...it has his name written all over it!

Kindergarten Christmas Show

This morning was Julian's Christmas show at school, it was soooo CUTE (and hysterical). He was over the moon about wearing his new green reindeer tie. (btw had a crying meltdown last night because I wouldn't buy him 4 more Christmas ties). I love that we captured such a great photo with his teacher, Mrs. Forseth...he absolutely adores her.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Today the men in my life celebrated Halloween in style sporting their tuxedos together. Julian had a blast handing out candy to the kids in Tosa at Nonna & Papa's house. In fact I think he preferred that over trick or treating. He also controlled Papa's giant spider all day. I overheard a few people asking him what his costume was and he would proudly reply "I'm a groom". It was hard to keep a straight face. Nola napped during most of the action but when she finally woke up we dressed her in her "JuneBug" costume, which barely fit! I dressed up as a cat a few nights ago at the Junior Guild party so I decided to take it easy today and just wore a bukk-toothed-mouse-face-monkey-ear-concoction from the one and only Auntie Likey in Japan.

Julian went out for more trick or treating tonight in our neighborhood with his bride, Elizabeth, the kid is going to be worn out! Wishing you and yours a Happy Halloween!

Kids Halloween Party

Last night we had our community Halloween Party which was a huge success. Julian and Elizabeth went as a Bride & Groom...it was hysterical and absolutely adorable. They wanted their photos taken over and over again, and walked around arm in arm for most of the evening. This weekend they will be trick or treating together so there will be plenty more photo opportunities, haaaa!
